sculpture project

This is a piece i made for the three week project in sculpture, i chose "dark" and "light" and also "hollow" as my options from the handout sheet.

i focused more on the dark, with morality as the main theme i tried to convey.
the skull symbolises death; the extinguishment of life, what once was full of life and light is now hollow and empty. I tried to emphasise this by filling one of the eyes with used matchsticks.
i used vintage bottles and put used match sticks and cigarette stubs  into them
